How to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
You can enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your AppMySite account to add an extra layer of security. This feature ensures that even if someone has your password, they cannot access your account without the authentication code generated by your authenticator app.
You’ll need an authenticator app like Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy to complete this process.
Step 1: Navigate to Security
Log in to your AppMySite account.
Click on the user profile from the top menu.
From the side menu, select Security.
Step 3: Enable Two factor authentication
Scroll down until you find Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
Click Enable.
Scan the QR code displayed on the screen using your authenticator app.
If you're unable to scan the QR code, use the manual code.
Enter the 6-digit code generated by your authenticator app.
Click Next to confirm.
2FA is now active on your account.
Store your recovery codes in a safe place. You’ll need them if you lose access to your authentication device.
