# Free plan

### What is the Free plan?

The Free plan serves as an essential starting point for exploring the platform's capabilities.

The Free plan is AppMySite's basic subscription tier designed to give you a glimpse into the platform's potential. It allows you to use AppMySite's suite of utilities and features to create a native iOS or Android mobile app.

You can create unlimited apps on the Free plan and explore all the app-building features at no cost. Each app can be designed, customized, and previewed freely.

{% hint style="warning" %}
To publish an app on the Play Store or App Store, you’ll just need to upgrade that specific app to a paid plan.
{% endhint %}

The Free plan serves several fundamental purposes:

**Create an Android app build**

* Build and publish an Android app on the Google Play Store even on the Free plan.
* Generate one Android build, which includes both the AAB and APK files.

**Explore AppMySite**

* Gain access to AppMySite's ecosystem and experience its features.

**Cost-free development**

* Create scalable and multifunctional mobile apps without incurring subscription fees.

**Informed decision-making**

* Test the platform to see if it aligns with your needs before upgrading.

**Compatibility testing**

* Check if your website’s applications or plugins integrate seamlessly with apps created on AppMySite.

There is no time limit on the Free plan. You can continue to explore and test the platform for as long as you wish before upgrading to a paid subscription.

{% hint style="danger" %}
You can create only one Android build (AAB and APK) under the Free plan.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.appmysite.com/pricing/free-plan.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
