How to disable two-factor authentication (2FA)

You can disable two-factor authentication (2FA) if you no longer want to use an authenticator app for your AppMySite account. Once disabled, you will only need your email and password to log in.

Step 1: Navigate to Security

• Log in to your AppMySite account.

• Click on the user profile from the top menu.

• From the side menu, select Security.

Step 2: Enable Two factor authentication

• Scroll down until you find Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).

• Click Disable.

Step 3: Confirm your action

• Enter the 6-digit authentication code generated by your authenticator app.

• Click Next to confirm.

• 2FA will now be disabled on your account.

Disabling 2FA lowers your account security. Make sure your password is strong and unique to keep your account safe.
