How to customize individual post settings in your app?

The individual post settings allow you to manage and organize your posts efficiently. These settings help structure content, improve searchability, and enhance visibility for users.

Step 1: Access the post screen

• Navigate to the Post section of your app.

• From the dropdown menu, select Posts.

• Open the post that you would like to make changes to.

• Click on the Settings button from the top right of the screen

Step 2: Customize post details

• Author – Assign an author to the post.

• Thumbnail – Upload a thumbnail image that will be featured on all pages where this post appears.

A well-chosen thumbnail improves visual appeal and helps users recognize posts easily.

Step 3: Organize post content

• Assign categories – Organize posts into relevant categories for better navigation.

• Assign tags – Improve post visibility by adding tags that help users filter and find relevant content.

• Assign attributes – Add additional attributes to categorize posts more effectively.

• Excerpt – Write a brief summary or teaser for the post to engage users.

Step 4: Control post publishing

• Publish immediately – Choose whether to publish the post instantly.

• Featured post – Mark the post as featured to highlight it in the app.

Use the featured post option to showcase important content and keep it prominently visible.

Step 5: Advanced settings for individual posts

Clicking the advanced settings option allows further customization of how posts appear in the app. The following toggles can be used to manage post details:

• Show author – Display the author’s name within the post.

• Show publish date – Display the date the post was published.

• Show categories – Display assigned categories on the post.

• Show tags – Display tags for better content organization.

• Show related posts – Display related posts to enhance content discovery.

• Filter related posts by:

  • Categories

  • Authors

  • Featured

  • Tags

• Enable bookmarking – Allows app users to save posts for later by bookmarking them.

• Show bookmark icon – Displays a bookmark icon in the app header for quick access.

Enabling related posts and filtering them by categories or tags helps keep users engaged with relevant content.

Step 6: Save your changes

• Once you have configured the post settings, click save to apply them.
